What our Volunteers say:.Lynn S

Jayce is a super intelligent, confident, and cuddly boy who was described as the "perfect gent" during his Christmas foster stay. He is incredibly affectionate and loves people, always greeting them with a wagging tail and plenty of kisses. In the home, he was clean (barring one small accident on day one) and settled in beautifully. He showed no signs of sleep startle or resource guarding. While he was initially polite enough to take himself away when the hoover was on, he got used to household noises quickly and is completely relaxed around the TV. He is also happy to be left alone for short periods, though he is naturally delighted to see you when you return!

Out on his walks, Jayce is confident and lovely on the lead, enjoying the chance to have a good sniff of his surroundings. He is sociable and got on very well with the two other greyhounds in his foster home. Regarding his food, he has excellent manners and eats slowly; he can be a bit of a "grazer" in the mornings but tends to eat his tea in one go. His foster family described him as an amazing, quick learner who loves to play with toys. He was a pleasure to have and will make a fantastic addition to a lucky family.
