What our Volunteers say:.Eliza and Marc
Hello, Eliza and I had the pleasure of taking Finn out for the day yesterday. I am just going to put a summary of how he was.
He walks incredibly well; he is very curious so has a tendency to swerve on the path (he doesn’t have great spatial awareness 😂), so you have to be careful you don’t trip over him. Finn is very friendly; he was good when people approached him but would also go up and sniff people. We had a few moments walking past children and they did not seem to bother him. He was great around other dogs, although he did get a bit jumpy when approaching some. Otherwise, out and about, he was very overwhelmed; however, we do live in Manchester, so I think any dog would be! 😄
Finn seemed fascinated by the mirror and television. He loved looking out of our bay window that looks onto the road. Due to his curiosity, he did struggle to settle and would bark at noises from the flats above and outside. He did settle well at the end and is okay with people being near him whilst he is lying down (we didn’t explore this too much).
Finn learned how to go up and down steep steps but had to be picked up to get in the car (my car is very small, so this may have been why), but he settled well once inside.
He’s a gorgeous boy who we would have loved to have kept forever.
