DAMIAN & TEDDY'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE
Teddy climbed in and out of my car like a pro. After a few false starts, he lay down on the dog bed in the back.
At the rugby club, Teddy was continually on the move. He is a confident and curious boy who is very strong on the lead; on more than one occasion, he brought me to the club bar! (Well, they were selling pupcakes in there after all). There was a lot of noise and activity going on, which didn't faze him at all. He attracted a lot of attention from stallholders, members of the public, and their dogs.
The St John Ambulance team was particularly taken with him—taking a group photograph before taking turns making a fuss over him. Teddy was a great ambassador for HRHNW, and his personality made him a fine representative of the charity.

Teddy and Billy in the car, both very good boys jumping in and out all by themselves! After a bit of jostling to get comfy, they both lay down and were quiet both ways, little sweethearts. Teddy at the show. He was very calm, for the most part, leaning on everyone he could, whenever he could. He could smell food from 2 miles away, even trying to lick a 2 y/o boys fingers for mini cheddars.
The 4 boys mugged Emily for a whole pack of treats and still wanted more (Julie was off chatting somewhere with Boost, he missed out!).
The only thing to note is Teddy can get a little worked up with chatty small dogs, he does pull towards them and can get a little barky. It's not full reactivity, easily redirected and not at every dog, seems to depend on the energy so can defo be worked on x

Teddy’s day out — very excited to be going out! He put his front paws onto the back seat and jumped in with no problem. He settled down but preferred to look out of the window on the way to the walk.
Once there, he jumped out unaided and seemed really pleased to be out and about. He had no reaction to other breeds or dogs, just curiosity at first, and then he was happy to just have a sniff. He preferred being at the front of the pack, so he pulled quite strongly when catching up after a sniff. He had no reactions to cars or horses 🐴 and seemed to love his new surroundings.
Once back, he enjoyed a cold drink and devoured a puppuccino or two. He kindly helped me with my lunch, and I think he’s quite a foodie, so he's easily persuaded x. Overall, a great day had by all!
He jumped back in the car with no issues, lay down, and settled on the way back. He seemed knackered 💤 from all the excitement of the day and fell asleep immediately. He's a lovely, cuddly dog with a little bit of cheeky energy and will make a lovely companion x

Yet again, Teddy did not disappoint on only his second day out of kennels! He absolutely loved affection from everyone and wasn't phased by other dogs of any breed. He was great with kids and adults alike, remaining very inquisitive and seeking attention from anyone who showed an interest. He really was perfection. A few people showed interest in him today, so hopefully, he will find his forever home very soon! x
