Babs seemed tired when I arrived at the kennels, and not really bothered about the idea of going out, but she rallied, bless her 😅 and I think she'll have felt it was worth it. She needed a lift to get into and out of the car, but on the return journey managed to get her front end up into the boot, so only needed a little help to get her rear end to follow. She settled well in the car during the short journey to and from the show.
Babs met lots of people—a few children but mainly adults—and was unfazed by them or the many dogs of all types and sizes that we encountered. She welcomed lots of fuss from people and showed good manners with dogs, ignoring some and gently greeting others. She lay down and chilled nicely on a rug with my friend's dog when we took a little break.
She coped really well with the whole new experience and was a pleasure to take out. Babs is a strong girl but walked nicely on the lead throughout, with no pulling. I hope it won't be long before she finds her forever, loving home 🩷🙏🏻
