Sid is a handsome blue Greyhound and is looking for a specific kind of sofa to call his own. At 32kg, he is a larger lad, but don’t let his size fool you—he is a sensitive soul at heart. Sid has previously lived in a home where he was housetrained, which is a fantastic foundation for his next family. While he can be a little nervous of loud noises, his photos show his wonderful, goofy side—he isn't afraid to give you the classic greyhound "long snoot" stare . He is described as having medium energy, meaning he will enjoy his zoomies but will be equally happy snoozing the day away once he's had his exercise.

What our Volunteers say:.Sally

Sid has been with us since Saturday. He has been a delight to have; he is very affectionate, asks to go out, and is interested in food, though a 'no' will usually suffice.

He waits patiently for his food. He enjoys a treat but isn't treat-orientated. He is confident on the stairs and sleeps well. Importantly, he doesn't have sleep startle.

He usually walks well and enjoys his walks; he is a fast mover! He can sometimes refuse to go in a certain direction but can be persuaded if you are inventive (e.g. crossing the road or doing a twirl).

He has been left for 45 minutes with no issues. He is fine with all dogs (on and off lead), bikes, joggers, and children. He is interested in squirrels and cats but can be quickly moved on. Hopefully, he will find his forever home soon.
