Trigger is a stunning 4-year-old dark brindle boy who is ready to find his forever home.

Trigger walks well on the lead and is happy around the other greyhounds at the kennels. He's happy to jump in and out of the car and settles quickly. He can be shy around new people and children, but once he gets to know you he's a little snuggle monster!

Trigger loves his food, but can love it a bit too much - he has been known to occasionally resource guard his food when eating. We would advise potential owners to leave him alone while eating and not to remove treats etc. until he's moved away and finished with them. Because he can be unnerved around small children and new noises, we would recommend he finds his forever home in a quieter household or with older, teenage children.

I had a trigger for the journey there. For the first half an hour, he didn't want to jump in the car so I had to lift him in. Once in, he settled quickly and lay down, but stood up every time I stopped at traffic lights. He was excellent around all other breeds, even with the inquisitive guide dog puppy who got right up in his face. He was quite happy with other dogs sniffing him and met most with a waggy tail. He didn't bat an eye at the goats—completely disinterested in them. He was really happy around people of all ages, often going up for cuddles and a lean.
