Afternoon Adventure: Boo

Boo has just returned to his kennel for tea after a truly spectacular afternoon out. To put it simply: he was absolutely perfect.

A Confident & Social Companion

Boo is the definition of a relaxed hound. He was completely unfazed by the world around him, handling every new situation with ease. He was approached by many different dogs—including several off-lead—and he remained calm, polite, and entirely unbothered throughout every greeting.

The Perfect Date

If you’re looking for a cafe companion, Boo is your boy! He joined us for a break outside a local cafe, where he settled down immediately, soaked up the atmosphere, and seemed to truly enjoy himself.

Excellent Manners

  • On the Lead: He is a dream to walk, staying right by your side with zero pulling.

  • In the Car: He settled beautifully for both legs of the journey, making travel a breeze.

Summary

Boo is a confident, steady, and incredibly chilled-out hound. With his "go-with-the-flow" attitude and gentlemanly manners, he is more than ready to find his forever sofa. Whoever adopts this boy is hitting the jackpot!

What our volunteers say: Sally

Boo has been in medical foster with us for 10 days, and his tail is now completely healed! He has settled beautifully into home life; he is funny, gentle, and incredibly loving.

He sleeps through the night and clearly asks to go outside when needed. He loves playing with balls and "collecting" shoes—though, thankfully, he never chews them! On walks, he is a dream; he walks well on the lead and hasn't shown any reactivity. He even joined us at the pub, where he stood politely for two hours just observing the world.

While he can navigate stairs on walks, he hasn't quite mastered the indoor ones yet. He initially tried a bit of counter-surfing, but he is improving quickly with a firm "no." Because of his recovery, he hasn't been left alone yet, but he’s been the perfect companion. We are going to miss him so much!
