What our Volunteers say: Sally
He is a totally chilled, laid-back boy who takes everything in his stride. During our time together, I noticed a few important things about his behavior. For instance, when a squirrel ran across our path, he simply watched with his ears up; he didn't try to chase it at all. Similarly, when a loose dog ran by, Ali remained completely non-reactive and didn't try to chase the other greyhounds nearby.
Ali enjoys a very slow, relaxed pace and likes doing his own thing. He’s also great at communicating, as he actually "took me for a walk" specifically when he needed to go to the toilet.
Because of his easygoing nature, I think he would be a perfect match for a mature, laid-back couple or a family looking for a relaxed, low-energy companion. I really enjoyed his company and think he'll make a wonderful pet.
What our Volunteers say: Emily
Ali needed a little support getting in and out on the way there but happily jumped in and out on the way back 🖤 Both boys were unfazed by the other breeds out on the day. William was curious and wanted to boop snoots, but there was no fear there. Ali is a quiet little soul who LOVED a lean, a snuggle, and reassurance. William has the big baby energy and wanted to explore. He's very strong on the lead but easily directed.
