What our Volunteers say:.Ruth
We had a brilliant day today! Gina was perfect! When getting in the car to set off, we lifted her in, but that was purely due to there being a spaniel knocking about and her being a little distracted.
As soon as she was in the car, she lay down and travelled brilliantly. She jumped out with no problem on arrival and trotted alongside us to meet the group. She was interested in the passing cyclists and dogs but was no trouble at all.
She waited patiently until the group was ready to set off—there was a little bit of squeaking, but not much. She was very good when people came to speak to her and quietly accepted the attention. Some geese came very close; she looked and was interested, but she didn’t react and walked away without issue when asked.
She LOVED her puppuccino! When the walk was over, she didn’t mind leaving the group to head back towards the car. She met a little white fluffy dog; they had a sniff of each other, and she seemed happy to meet and greet. Back at the car, she happily jumped in without help and lay down again. She stayed like this all the way home.
What a fab little girl she is! I wanted to take her home!
