What our Volunteers say:.Emily
Mac was an absolute star with us on his day trip to Entwistle Reservoir.
He needed some help getting into the car and did seem a bit unsettled or stressed, so he would need some work on this. However, he sat down after a while and was quiet and not disruptive.
He walked like a gentleman on the lead. His iconic pointy ears were on "alert" for some of the dogs, but he didn't react negatively. A young off-lead dog ran up to him and he got excited, but more because he wanted to play than anything else. He met various breeds of different sizes and was both unfazed and curious.
Mac came into our house for a short time and was inquisitive, but he soon found a comfy place to lie down. He went to the toilet in the garden and didn't have any accidents inside. He enjoyed some fuss and rested his head against us for an ear rub.
My own dogs weren't quite as welcoming as I would have liked (through no fault of his own!), otherwise we would have taken him ourselves.
Mac is a sweet, well-mannered dog who seems to get on well with others. He is going to make a lucky person very happy!
