What our Volunteers say:.Jan

Imo is a reserved, gentle boy who will grow in confidence once he finds his forever home.

In the house, he is calm, accepting all day-to-day domestic activities and noise from appliances, etc. He has been clean and dry in the house with no accidents or marking, but we have been taking him out regularly as he doesn't yet ask to go out. Imo has slept through until 7.30 am each night of his stay, sleeping downstairs on his own, and has not presented with any sleep startle.

He enjoys his walks. In the park, he is well-behaved even around noisy children and remains calm when encountering a variety of dogs, on and off-lead. He does get excited when he sees a squirrel, but not overly so, and is easily moved on.

We have left Imo on his own for short periods; today it was for an hour. This could gradually be increased as, when we came home, he was fast asleep on his bed.

In summary, Imo is a really sweet boy and deserves that home where he can be showered with love, allowing his confidence to grow.
