What our Volunteers say about Big Mac: Gill

Big Mac is a gorgeous, happy, and immensely playful dog, absolutely brimming with personality and affection. Once he gets over his initial excitement, his sweet and gentle nature shines through. Mac is a true people-dog; he thrives on company and is incredibly affectionate, always wanting to be close to his humans. He is a pleasure to have around the house, remaining completely calm and unfazed by typical household noises, and he embraces the Greyhound life by making himself comfortable on a soft sofa. He is brilliant on walks, confidently navigating busy roads, traffic, and even passing trains without a fuss. He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys exploring, having been well-behaved around small dogs in the forest and showing curiosity, rather than chase drive, towards birds, ducks, and even squirrels. He travels well in the car, manages stairs with confidence, and sleeps soundly through the night, showing no signs of sleep startle or resource guarding.
