Just doing a little update for Dolly. She was lovely on the walk, though a little unsure in the car. However, she settled in the first five minutes and lay down the whole time.
On the walk, she was reactive to wildlife and smaller dogs. She didn't bark or lunge; it was nothing aggressive, just curious and wanting to play. She's great on the lead and doesn't really pull; she's just happy and a little giddy when first on the walk, but she loves to smell everything and is such an amazing girl. Any family would be lucky to have her. ❤️

Dolly jumped in and out of the car with no problems. She settled in the car, lying down or sitting up to look out of the back window. On the Sefton Park walk, Dolly was inquisitive about everything, wanting to investigate with enthusiasm. She either pulled towards them or froze to get a better look. Dogs, ducks, squirrels, and people all needed investigating! With gentle encouragement, she was able to continue walking.
Once in my house, Dolly continued to inspect every inch by sniffing. She wouldn't lie down, preferring to stand and lean against you for a cuddle. She was clean in the house. Dolly went up and down the stairs with the elegance of Bambi on ice! It was lovely to spend the day with her. I hope she finds her forever family who will provide a calm presence to channel her boundless enthusiasm.
